Here are some other shots of the Wright house, Fallingwaters
On the way to Fallingwaters, we went through a state park. They had a pull over area where you could walk down and look at the river. George Washington had once looked at this river for moving troops by water, during the French and Indian war. He rejected the idea because the river drops 90 feet in one mile, through a series of falls.
At the flight 93 memorial, it is quite a ways from where the plane actually crashed. Where the American flag is, is where it actually crashed.

I do love seeing photographs of waterfalls - they come a close second to sunsets and sunrises in my book. Just imagine you may have stood on the very spot where George Washington once stood!!!

Lovely photos Capt Kirk. I still can't figure out what the never-ending sound of a waterfall underneath my house would eventually do to my nerves.

Droopy, I think you would find that it would calm them once you got used to them. Last summer we camped close to a stream similar to that and it was so relaxing I had trouble staying awake. Frank the room I liked the most was the great room, that's the first level in the second pic. It's almost all windows. The draw backs for me are the low ceilings. I am 6' tall and most of the ceilings are 6'3". Also most of the hallways and doors are only about 30 or 32 inches wide.
