If it were my space.....
Lower the TV if thats the only place to really have it (which i see you did), move the canvas paintings higher, not super high, but a bit so your eye isnt pulled up to tv then down to pics, up down up....
If you have a larger area rug i would use that under the table and have the sofa right to the edge of it, or under its front feet. The rug looks proportionally small with the large fireplace tv and paintings.
