For the last two years, my gladiolus have been a bust.
I thought that the bulbs were spent after last year, so I bought all new bulbs this spring. Same thing happened, the leaves are all full of holes, and the blooms never open. They just shrivel up and dry out.
I spoke with a glad grower and he thought it was thrip.
Any suggestions as to how to save the bulbs and get a good crop next year? One site suggested soaking the bulbs in Lysol.

Catherine
