I was reading old postings (that were closed). People were talking about what they have in their garden. I live in a mobile home community, so the lots aren't real big and I don't feel that I can really express myself, because it is someone elses property. But... can you really have too much?
I have a garden angel statue, a sheep (lying down), 3 gazing balls, an old watering can, piece of an old fence (only about 30 inches tall), 2 bird baths, 2 milk cans, an old window frame hung on my storage shed, a window box with faux geraniums. All that and yet I still want more! Are there more of you that like more? Or do you think less is best?

I have to admit, I think I'm a "less is best" kinda gal when it comes to accessorizing the yard. Flowers, stone, mulch, some nice trees, maybe a bird feeder or two, I think that would do it for me. I've not yet done anything with our yard yet though to know from experience, so maybe you've got something there! Very Happy

I say to each his/her own.

Personally I do not have much as the space is seriously lacking.

I have a frog. Big, terracotta one sitting in front of some variegated iris. Once our ponds are made (lots of our garden is still under construction) I will add some stone Japanese lanterns and maybe more frogs.

We have lots of toys all over the garden, so there's hardly room for anything else.

I'd love to see some photos, kuntrygal!

I have tons! If it's arranged to your taste then it's a GO. I want more. I NEED more. My junk always brings me pleasure. I just found two funky wire pineapples at an estate sale and I just love them. Laughing

I agree with Palm Tree, to each her own Stew Face 2 But like Bethie I get really excited when I come across a real "find" Laughing I love old "antiquey" stuff. I plant my geraniums in old galvanized buckets and have 2 or 3 old galvanized wash tubs with flowers in them. I'm lucky though, our neighbors aren't too close so they can't complain about my garden junk Very Happy

Mr. Green I love artful and/or whimsical touches in my garden and in my home,
if my neighbors don't appreciate it, they are free to look in some other direction.

I am currently looking for an old wheel barrow with wood handles, and several galvanized buckets that are partially rusted out. At a yard sale, I saw and old cast iron planter that had about a 1/4 of the side of it rusted out. Would loved to have had it, but too heavy for me to lift (back surgery) to plant petunias or geraniums. So I will keep searching. Wink

ZUZU, I Love your Attitude-smiley!!!!
I don't have much "stuff", I change my mind too often, but, I do love a bunny tucked here and there. And my little turtle. Oh, and a resin bird in the planter box. And my fave, my cat MingMao snoozing in a sunbeam.

I like my junk, I don't care what the neighbors think. I don't like my weeds, but that's another story.
