Earlier today I was writing a comment in Capt Kirk's blog and I was pondering whether I needed to use the word 'affect' or 'effect'. So a little trip to Google returned this site http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/errors.html

It's covers common English language errors that most of us make. A good read and reference.
