Well done for getting such fantastic shots Petunia. Very Happy I just hope they stay away as much as possible from roads so that they don't get run over.

I love the sound wild turkeys make. Our son had some in his area when he lived in the countryside in New York. They don't frequent the city. We used to see them in Colorado when we were riding the train various places. dooley

There are a lot of wild turkeys in our area. Once in awhile we will see a lot of them fedding in a field, particularly since they have picked the corn. Wannabe

Petunia those are lovely pics of the mother and her young ones! We used to hear wild turkeys out in the woods behind my dad's house but I haven't heard them in the past couple of years. Guess some hunter got them.Sad
Glendann the peacock ladies were down at my house the other day. They were making every step my guinea chickens were! When it was getting close to roosting time they headed back up the hill toward Tina's.I got to enjoy them for the day at least!Smile

You are so making me wish to see more of the US! We get quail and pheasants here, but I never knew turkeys could actually be cute!
