I took Oreo on his walk today and I found these Wild Flowers beside the
the lane.
I think this is a type of Wild Daisy.
They are all over the field across from my house.
This one I have no clue of what its name is.It is so pretty. It grows in huge clumps and usually gets about 5 1/2 ft.to 6 ft.tall.This has fell and is still blooming.

The first flower looks like Hymenoxys odorata aka Bitterweed, it is a member of the Sunflower family and a Texas Wildflower.
The second picture looks like Vernonia baldwinii aka Western Ironweed, it also is a member of the Sunflower family, also a Texas Wildflower.

They're still in bloom huh? A nice field of color! It's a shame winter is just around the corner.

Nope its not Bitterweed toni.I was raised around bitterweeds and if the cows got into them the milk was bitter.
This has a little stem and is tall.I think this might be a Golden Eye not real sure.
Eileen the bottom is Ageratum ( Mist Flower)It can be invasive.I sure love it anyway.
Yes redrose our wildflowers are here for a while yet
usually after Nov.or Dec.before a heavy frost sometimes earlier but not very often.

Is the first one Helenium autumnale aka Sneezeweed? I love the second one also! So much so I dug some from the roadside and planted it in my flowerbed last year. This year it is gorgeous in the flowerbed along the side of my house!!
