I missed most of my Dahilias blooms in the Spring and now the old stalks are reviving.

These Mum blooms will be open completely by morning hopefully.

This one is almost completely open.

Anything purple, lavender, lilac, violet, you name it, and I love it. In fact most flowers of those colors look almost good enough to eat ~

I'm just loving Dahlia's this year! Yours is beautiful. I've noticed that mine have perked up since the weather has cooled off and I'm getting loads of new flowers.
Do you know the name of that one Glenda?

I love dahlias too.
Raise them yearly from seed...They never disappoint me here is zone 5.

It is like a addiction, once you plant them.

I love the burgundy color.

Dahlias are wonderful, so many different shapes and colours... Since I have to dig'em out of the ground and store them in the basement during winter, I don't have any.

I hope you will continue sharing your lovely dahlias, Glenda.

Glendann yours are great .
Now Here I do not grow mine from tubers.. Seeds.
This year I was given tubers and planted them and seeds.

Know what ? The seeds dahlias bloomed first.

Glendann did you use seed or tubers.

Isn't it nice to still have flowers to enjoy in the autumn?
