I love the folkart style of painting, I made these about 3 years ago and noticed today when I finally remembered to hang the Autumn one on the door that I had not finished painting it nor had I shared them with you all. Hopefully at some point I will get the chance to add some Autumn touches to it.

Nice work, Toni I'm glad you remembered those, and dug them back out -
they deserve to be displayed with pride.

I don't know that we have ever had an orange moon in the fall, it is usually a gold color. That moon has some orange highlights tho.

Our moon is orange too. Rather beautiful, isn't it? There are nights where it's closer, and seems to light everything up. A shame you miss out on the orange-ness, toni.

Is a person who knows........Thanks for saving my neck.
Yes it is bright and beautiful.....I always wish I had a telescope to see it closer.
The little kids call it a pumpkin up here.
Texas has everything else so it won't miss an orange moon.

Haha, funny you should say that 'cause I was actually gonna say it often looks like a pumpkin, but for the sake of not sounding like a youngster, I left it out.

I captured a pretty sunset the other nite here.
Didn't upload it yet......Unusual......
Too many chores in October......I spend lots of time trying to find pretty leaves.

Toni I really think your door signs are lovely. What touches are you thinking of adding to the autumn one? All the beautiful colours of fallen leaves would look great sprinkled across the green of the grass. I hope you discover more of your work hidden away as I really enjoy seeing it.
