For me she started out turning clockwise, and does that most of the time, but she's also turning anti-clockwise in between.

Ok I'm confused. When the page first loaded I saw her turning clockwise but after looking at the descriptions I am definitely a left-brained person. I was able to get her to switch direction without too much hassle though.
Very interesting Droopy thanks for sharing. I'm off to check myself into the loony bin

I guess the left side of my brain must be off on holiday,
Not only did I see her turning distinctly clockwise,
but I couldn't even fathom how to get her to change direction.

Very interesting. I have to say, she only turned clockwise for me. I can't figure out how to get her to turn counter-clockwise. Maybe I'm just closed minded. Fascinating, none the less!

She turned clockwise most of the time for me, but I found that if I looked at something else besides her then she would change direction.
So do you figure that the picture is set to randomly change directions at random intervals??

Nope the animation never changes, it's an optical illusion. Like the mask illusion.

Okay, I figured out how to get her spinning in the opposite direction. What a relief! I was actually worried that I couldn't activate the left side of my brain.
I looked at her shadow. Her shadow on the ground makes it look like she's going counter (anti) clockwise. When I looked back up at her, wham, she was spinning counter clockwise.
After concentrating long enough and telling myself she was spinning clockwise again, I got it to switch. Wierd!

I can see her spinning one way, blink and she is spinning the other way. When considering the descriptions of left and right brained, I fall somewhere in between. Enough about spinning, how can I meet her?

URG! I've watched her and watched her shadow,
I've looked away and looked back,
I've squinted, and watched with one eye closed . . .
but, still she turns clockwise . . . she's relentless!

She started spinning in an anti-clockwise direction for me but quickly changed to clockwise. Now she's turning from one to the other!! Guess both sides of my brain are still working then - despite my age.

This was bizarre - at first she was counter-clockwise and I was thinking "how could she change, it's obvious she's going counter..." and *zap* she was going the other way! I thought there was a trick to it at first, like they were randomly switching her or something... but I got her to change directions a couple times. Wild.
