Ooo such a lot of ideas

I will have to make a decision and stick to at least one of them.

I would love to get all different colours of arums in my garden (I currently have only white ones.) the Yellow ones I planted never stood a chance as the cutworms feated on the bulbs.

I want to try and grow a Leucadendrom shrubs that opens up when flowering.

I want to start a herbal, scented garden, (A pipe dream)

I want to start a vegetable patch and do companion gardening. (If only I had the space.)

WHere do I stop? WHere do I start?

I'm haven't grown and lettuces or bok-choy for years, but I'm intending to give 'em a try on my deck where slugs won't be so much of an issue. I'm giving away a couple huge peony plants to friends to make more room in my garden area to play with cutting flowers - love the idea of zinnias, stratsmom!

My kids want to plant indian corn - I can't think of where I can put them that will get enough sun, but if creativity strikes we may.

Want to add more shrubs and small trees along our back fence too - this year we did nineteen of them along one side, now to tackle the next leg.

I need to work on my soil. I am composting like crazy with all the produce from the grocery store. I want to raised beds and definitely put out "NO SPRAY" signs. I really think the lack of weed killer will help my garden next year. Wink

I have trouble with flowers getting too large or not large enough where I plant them. You sure don't want a huge plant in the front of a flowerbed but how do you know how much it likes or dislikes the area. Trial and error....Sherry8
