So glad that it was nothing too serious. I have a feeling that Squeak is going to get a extra dose of TLC along with her anti-biotics. Stew Face 1

Yes anti-biotics, she has had one so three more to go today, she is too clever by half and is sniffing everything she is given.
we will get there, its just going to be a battle of the minds.

So glad to hear all is well Stew Face 1
Your kitties are very photogenic Smile I try and try to get a good photo of my cats. So far all I have are a bunch of so-so pictures, none of them capture their real personalities Sad

hi Deanna,

not so much photogenic just a bunch of showoffs and believe me many of the photo's I have taken are of half a cat or its back end.
Squeak is just like her sister fuzz (she has been missing or over 6 years now) obstinate and a typical Persian cross and trying to outfox her is difficult. Mad ........but she will take them somehow Cool.

As soon as one has been with something wrong another pops up I really think I might get a season ticket for the vets or just move in with all the cats.
Harriet(harry)has "eosinophilic granuloma" which to you and me is a rash probably caused by those pesky harvest mites anyway it means she has to have another steroid injection, this after having to have a biopsy some months ago.
she is a really happy little soul until means having to go to the vet.
OK which one next?

I'd move in with all my cats. Laughing You're a good person who takes proper care of your animals. Keep up the good work.

Had to take my old hound in 02/02/08 to have her put down after an 8 month fight with what the vet calls a growth that was terminal. But i am happy for her because they said she was within a week of the worst part of the illness. It was best she did not have to go through that part. But i took the last step with her so she could know i was there and she was loved.

It's one of the hardest things I've ever had to do is make that decision. I was always with mine until the end holding on tight, and I know in my heart that they appreciated my presence. We've always had two dogs at a time...now both of ours are up there in age, and I just hope that they don't have problems at the same time. I can't imagine a house without dogs.

Glasfrn, I know that this is an old post, and I hope yours is doing O.K. at this point.

Squeak is fairly well and doing OK for an old girl and kizzy her nemisis is just like a kitten at 18years + and the two of them are trying to outdo the other right to the end.
I have alway made sure I have been with any animal we have had at the end and to be quite honest it helps, bad at the time but you do know you have done the right thing for your family member.
