I had 2 yearling deer in my front yard this morning. One was up by the house nibbling on the ground cover. I got my camera and was just ready to snap the oic and his tail went up and he was gone. Since the deer are moving again, I will keep my camera on the table next to my chair.

The deer are beautiful, aren't they. We have a mom and twins wandering in the woods around the house. and they frequently can be seen at the edges of the clearing around the house. They too are spooky, and the slightest movement and they are gone. Getting a picture of those three can be a task. I did get this one of Mom.

Aren't deer just so pretty?! We have some that will occasionally come up near the house. Ours don't seem to spook too easily. However, they've only come out at night, so I've not yet gotten a good shot of them. I do hope you're able to capture a pic of them capt, the young ones are so adorable!

Great photograph Tom. Sadly we no longer have many deer around here as most of the green space is now being built on.
Looking forward to your piccies CK if the deer will stand still for you long enough.

I'm keeping my camera close too Capt.
It's getting cold out and all the animals are roaming a lot lately. And I promised Frank a coyote or bear picture...

We didn't see our deer again tonight. I didn't have the camera last night. If dr gets up early he may see one. He's been getting some sunrise pictures. dooley
