Hello Garden Stewers! I am new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Andrew Kenyon and I am a home owner in Saint Augustine Florida. Yes, it's true... St. Augustine grass in Saint Augustine NEVER stops growing! I could mow my grass every 3 days if I wanted it to always have that nicely trimmed look. I'm also a portrait painter and specialize in portraits of children. I got my start however, painting portraits of pets and just finished a head and shoulder portrait of our dog Lily just last week. Take a look.
Looking forward to 'Stewing' with you!

Andrew Kenyon

Oh my

What a lovely family you have - great picture
Lovely dog. I simply love dogs.

Welcome to the stew - I am also 'relatively' new
and also enjoy stewing. I am sure you will love the stew. (it can become addictive, believe me.)

Welcome to the Stew from Norway. You'll feel at home in no time, I'm sure. What a lovely family you have. I think your Lily looks just like her portrait.

She's such a pretty dog! She looks like she fits your family just right. Isn't it great how dogs can do that, make an already great family complete. Gotta love 'em!
I'm fairly new here as well. Though I must warn you, they say if you're not careful Garden Stew can become fairly addictive! Razz Welcome!

Morning Andrew and a warm welcome to our forums from West Lothian in Scotland. I love the painting of Lily - you've captured her on canvas perfectly. How I wish I painted a portrait of our Labrador, Blue, before he passed away!!

You have three gorgeous children and your photograph of them with Lily should be framed and hung somewhere special in your home.

I look forward to seeing more of your work and getting to know you. Very Happy

Hello Stewers! Thanks for such a warm welcome and for all the kind words regarding my artwork. The pic of my kids was our 2006 Chistmas PIC. My oldest is now looking me in the eyes. It must hurt to grow so fast! :• )
I think it is really cool to hear from so many others from around the world. Scotland, Norway, etc. Elieen mentioned seeing some more of my art. Be careful what you ask for!

Glad it wasn't just me that saw that Droopy!! Rolling Eyes
Andy you have a truly wonderful talent. Your client must have been over the moon to have such a beautiful portrait painted of her and her horse.
I'd be interested to know when you first discovered your flair for art - was it as a child? Did you go to art school? Nosey ain't I? Laughing Laughing

I've been browsing your gallery. I love the children and animals you've done. Both fur and skin tones are so life-like.

Hello from Wisconsin Andrew....I was just looking through all the different areas and I found your pictures. They are great...I will check out your link .... I have a yellow lab too. Her name when we bought her was snowball, we changed it to Shadow because she was always following me around...my little shadow at that time..now she is 4 and a very valued family member.
