Droopy- how do you use stevia right from the plant? I got from of the powered packets from the store. I like them but there is some conflicting reports on its effects on the body after all that processing.

Strasmom- that's an awesome trick Smile I may buy myself a few nice glasses just for drinking my water!

We just chopped the leaves and put them in tea, water or whatever until we had the right sweetness. The children picked a leaf now and then and chewed on small bits just to enjoy the taste.

I can't remember how much leaf to how much water now, my husband was sweetening some cake mix with it as well.

I have to agree! Nothing tastes better than a cool glass/bottle of water after a long run or exercise regimine.
We've also done like SusieQ and bought the flavored water from walmart. I don't know how they do it, but it tastes pretty close to pop, and yet has zeros down the nutrition label.
