Can anyone help me id this plant.
I fell in love with it at the local nursery, but they didn't know what it was. I bought it anyway, but now all the leaves have fallen off. There is a small bit of new growth, but not a lot.
I would love to save this plant, but I don't know what to do for it, b/c I can't id it.
Thanks so much

Hello Scuba: This is a guess and I can be corrected if I'm wrong but by the purple color it almost look to be a purple velvet plant. Though I can't tell if your plant has that velvet thing going on. If so it needs bright light. water liberly then sparingly in the winter. Repotting in the spring. hope this helps, its only a guess.

The leaves are not velvety, if that is what you are asking me.
They are probably the same as any regular tree leaf in feel.
