I love painting the walls, its the woodwork I HATE, all that preparation and fiddly bits, give me a plain old wall or ceiling any day! Very Happy

I love painting, as long as I'm working with bright colors. I refuse to paint anything white.

I agree - it's the prep work that stinks, but the painting is enjoyable. I have various shades of pastels throughout my house, and a touch of stenciling in metallics. I just finished painting a new mantle for my fireplace in chocolate brown and metallic copper.

I love painting, when i got to 30,i was single and bringing up both girls alone. I thought hmmmmm is this all life has to offer?? So i popped down to the local college and enrolled in a painting and decorating course! 2 years later, i was qualified, really improved my social life and made a bit of money, from doing other peoples houses. Best thing i ever did! Very Happy

I voted no but that is cus the last thing I hate to do after painting all week is painting my own place on the weekend. Just ask my lady. Smile

I can work out in the yard all day though! Change of pace thing.

I love to paint anything!! I love to be able to change the mood of room just by applying a different color to the walls! We have paneling in every room of our house and half of them have been painted!! John has told me I could paint any room I want except the livingroom.

When I was in high school, I helped my father wallpaper most of the rooms in a 22 apartment building. I have never touched wallpaper again. I am not fond of painting but it beats wallpaper any day of the week. Never again.
