I haven't been on much this weekend as I had company. My two cousins came from Houston Saturday morning early. In fact rousted me out of bed. we had an enjoyable lunch got ready and went to a dear friends 50th wedding Ann.and they renewed their vows. They were high school sweethearts and they both have cancer. She was able to stand up for a short while.

Here is a picture of the vows beening renewed.

A picture of the grooms cake. It has 2 pictures on it one of them real young and one of them now.

These are my two cousins in the yard while I dug plants up for Shirley to take home. They are sisters .

The story about the wedding ceremony brought tears to my eyes. Imagine, 50 years. Your cousins look like fun, Glenda.

That is so romantic!
I really like the cake. How do they put the photos on there? Is it just photos on the cake or is it icing that is edible?

It's a sheet of icing, they print the photo on it. It really is neat though, isn't it?

Looks like you had a great time Glenda. That's great that they were able to renew their vows. And though it's rather unfortunate that they've both got cancer, it's nice that neither of them is going through it alone.
