|
Hi: I am collecting bowling balls for outside art in the garden as well as artsy decor on the interior. I've got some website for mosaic bowling balls but how do I prep them for painting (or spray painting)? Do I rough them up with sandpaper first or prime them with a prime paint?
Does anyone out there have any fun things they've done to their bowling balls?
Thanks
Mimi Z

Hi Mimi, welcome to the Stew from north Texas.
Check out the list of "Related Forum Topics" right under the last comment in this topic. There are four that will have pictures and instructions on decorating bowling balls.
I didn't rough up the ball before I painted my mosaic one or seal it either for that matter and it has been sitting outside in all kinds of weather for 3-4 years now I think.

I liked the tidbit about the witches, Craft Gardener. Does it work with neighbours?
