Wow.....I just bought a Dell 22 inch monitor from Walmart and is it nice. It wasn't any cheaper than going on Dell's site but at least I don't have to pay the shipping. My other one was huge and took up so much room and now I have plenty of room for typing things. It was worth all the money I paid for it...and the bigger size is so-------------------nice
.

So pleased to hear that you like your new monitor Sherry. It's nice to treat yourself once in a while isn't it? Stew Face 2

It is great to get something you have wanted but kept putting it off. When you have one but just want a better one, a lot of other things come first. Now it is Merry Christmas to ME...............

The price for LCD monitor has dropped sharply this year. I bought a 37" LCD monitor two years ago and now the price is reduced to only one third.

Thanksgiving is coming and it's time to get one if you are dreaming. Watch the bargain in stores!

Mine is an LCD too. I have never seen a 37" computer screen. I doubt very much if it would fit on my desk. I have a scanner, printer sitting on top too. I do so much with the scanner...I like to scan old photos into my albums. I leave my computer on all day and let my photo album pictures just rotate on the screen. My husband likes to watch the show while he is on the treadmill. Have fun with your large screen...maybe in a couple years..who knows.

I mainly use this computer for video editing and HD vedio presentation, sometimes we'll watch TV/DVD, or make a conference call. That's why we need a big screen. With a 1920x1080 resoltion, I can open miny windows for multiple task.

The desk is actually a custom made. Wireless keyboard and mouse are placed on a detachable table under the main desk and can be rolled out to any location in the room.

Too bad - my husband has a "hobby" to collect computers.

Good looking piece of equipment Susie. I wouldn't go back to my old style monitor now that I have a flat screen - so much better to work with. Very Happy

I didn't even know that they had built in speakers. That would of saved some more room on the desk top. I did want to get a Dell because I like their products. I would not trade the large screen for anything...it is so------------nice. Enjoy your new one... How in the world did you get under a dollar shipping??

Built in speakers, yes, please! That would save me some desktop space.

I actually velcro'd my speakers to the top of my monitor. Saves tons of space.
