Kuntrygal, there is no zone map on the Stew but you can find your zone at both these sites.

It would be nice if we could list our zone with our name . . . I could have sworn I have seen at least one with it.
I thought I was 6 or 7, but I am actually 7a & 7b. Thank you Toni!!!

Wow! I get two zones, 8-9. I am right on the edge of both zones and can grow some things from 9 that require more warmth than zone 8 and some things from zone 8 that need to be cooler than zone 9. Some from each but you have to be careful. Our ground doesn't freeze but we do have frost and a limited amount of snow. dooley

You can put it in the location section, right after Lufkin, Tx.

I like the feature of adding zones to the profiles it really helps to understand where someone is growing and helps give them good answers.

So . . . is everyone who is in a certain zone where ever they live in the world experiencing about the same weather? Just wondering . . . (Is zone 7a the same in one part of the world as it is in another?) Question

Now how do I figure GMT time to make it what time it actually is here? (I am Eastern Standard Time.)

Song, the zones on those maps are only the US and Canada. Many countries do not even have planting zones.

Your time zone is GMT -5 hours. I.E. when it is 12:00 pm GMT it will be 7 a.m. where you are. But that is while we are on standard time, when the clocks change to DST you will be GMT -4 because GMT never changes.
