If I had to make out a xmas list and tell Santa that I have been a good girl and to please bring me...

I would ask for the perfect, fertile, well drained, right sun and water spot for my pending purple roses. I am running out of spaces for plants. I walked my yard 4 times today trying to come up with the ideal place for a new garden area. I have a new site for my white garden, but not my future purple roses.

I've been good all year and I deserve these new roses. I've been thinking about purple roses for years! And they are almost in my grasp. I need some teeth (well one) but I'd rather have the perfect new rose spot. [get it? All I want for xmas is my 2 front teeth:)]

What would you ask Santa for, for your garden? A new plant? More yard junk? Better soil? An end to weeds?
A greener thumb? A better garden design?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

May all your xmas wishes come true, unless you have been a naughty gardener.

All I want for Christmas is peace on Earth. I make that wish every year, but it still hasn't come through.

I need a bigger garden, because my wish-list is longer than me. But primarily I wish me better health, to be able to make the most of what I already have.

This is for my garden right, well lets see:

Some bedding mix to make new flower beds, bc my soil is horrible.

Plants to fill the new beds and mulch to put on top.

And one or two pieces of nice garden structure and a pond with a waterfall next to the new patio, that I also want.

Oh how I would love a water feature but my husband swears that it will attract snakes. So in a world without snakes i would love a water feature too.

A big ol' barn with a concrete floor, so I could feed & water my bunnies comfortably in winter, and gather their gift of fertilizer more easily. Heated would be nice, as long as I'm dreaming.

I'd love more trees and shrubs. And less mice and voles!

I would like for my two favorite plant nurseries that specialize in native Texas plants to send me Gift Certificates for unlimited amounts.

On the slightly more realistic side I would like 7 Black Cohosh, Cimicifuga racemosa plants for two very shady areas.

I like Glenda, would like the energy and stamina to take care of what I have. I by no means have the area that she has to care for, I just want to be able to care for my little junque garden Smile

And I really have been a good girl !

Everone must be getting their x-mass garden wishes because there are not many wishes posted.

I know all gardenstewers have been good in 2007. May all your garden wishes, dreams, endeavors come true and be as lovely as you all are.

Merry X-Mas

I think I'd like to get in on the more-energy thing. And more sunny hours to go with it. I think I'd like to live in Camelot. Only rains at night and sunny every day.

My wishs to Santa for the lottie would be:
an electric twig chipper
a "Thames Cross" Plum tree
and a replacement set of phloxes that the waskuhwy wabbuts ate this past summer.
....I suppose asking for better weather this year is going a step too far, huh?

Still keeping my eyes open for that Thames Cross for you and hoping, if I find one, that the company will deliver to your area. Fingers crossed.
