Trumpet lilies to me just seem so elegant...the long slender ...shape of it and they get so large...I have had some taller than 5 feet.
I love the smell of the trumpet lilies...I used to have more colors when we lived in the country but I didn't get to bring everything I loved or we would of had 2 semi's full.

Oh those are soooo beautiful!! Being a lover of white flowers I particularly like the first photograph but they are all really lovely.

Oh, those are gorgeous Sherry! I especially love the 4th picture with the pink lilies and white blooms behind. (What are those little white blooms?)
I just love pink and white blooms together.

Lovely lilies! Thank you for sharing, I can smell them all the way here. We can grow some of those. Have you got any names?

How pretty! Are they hardy? I love the colors. I found a "Casablanca" at our nursery last summer. It smelled heavenly! I was too cheap to buy it, think I'll keep my eye out for bulbs

WOW! Glorious trumpets, Sherry!
Other than the white ones that I plant out after buying a potful each Easter,
I haven't thought to add any others to my garden.
The colored ones are so lovely!

The small white flowers in with the pinkish lily I don't remember the name...they looked like small daisies and were very nice. I didn't remember to grab a pot of them when we moved...I had so much in pots the way it was.
They are hardy in zone 4 and I am sure other areas that have a cold winter. I did not get a name for each lily because they came in one bag marked trumpet lilies at the time. I am pretty sure I got them from Brecks.

You're right that they seem to elegant but what I don't like about them is that it is so hard to enjoy them unless you're laying on your back in the garden or you're a garden gnome looking up.
I like the flower in the last flower the best.

My mother's trumpet lilies are at least 1,70 tall - that's nearly 6 feet.

Some of my trumpet lilies are close to that height too. I think that is one of the reason I like them is their height and the shape of the trumpet.
