We've started to make some new decorations for Christmas. These were bought as sets, and were fairly easy to make. My 9-year-old still needed some help:

Looks like a great way to keep the kids occupied Droopy. It's hard to tell their size from the picture...are they small for hanging on the tree?

Thank you all, we enjoyed ourselves.

The pink thingies are approx. 10 cm - 4 inches long without the loop, so they can hang on the tree. The santas are approx. 14 cm - 5,5 inches tall and are for standing. They've got wooden bodies too, and are quite heavy.

I've got another set of santas ready for a boring, rainy day.

I think hand-made decorations are so much nicer than shop bought ones. You not only have them to look at each Christmas but you have the memories of the fun you had whilst making them as well. Very Happy

I love your gnom-ish santas!! I thought maybe they were tumkins (I know I spelled that wrong...) at first look.

The Gnomes approve, great work Droopy. Just watch out for the gnomes however, they may just steal your Xmas gifts!

Thank you for lovely comments. Smile

I rather felt this year I was helping them. That's a first. Just shows they're getting older. The hobby table cloth is pretty colourful to begin with, and yesterday added more colour and glitter to it. Laughing
