Nice chickadee foto. I would like to other ones of that grayish brown bird, showing it's face and bill. I just can't see enough of it.
Thanks for posting the foto's.

Ha ha ha... yes, I guess you're right about that.
A juno, eh? Interesting name. Do they move about in flocks or in pairs?

Chuckle... what other types of birds do you get coming through?~
Word must have gotten around that you have a new feeder.
It´s nice to attract birdies into your yard, isn´t it?

Oct 31 my sis gave me the feeder and thistles for my birthday.......
On the farm the little fatties get well nourished.
We raise grain for the cattle and the birds have a hay day all year long.....In the winter they steal the corn out of the silos......
Dang pigions pulled a window out and husband had to go up the silo and pull a ladder up to go over and fix it .The window was at the very top......40 feet straight up................eek

Birds
Pheasants
turkeys
ducks
geese
quail
doves
cowbirds
robins
sparrow
blue jays
red cardinal
crows
heron
black birds
hawks
cowbirds
I probably forgot some.
Boy is it noisy in my yard in the summer..
Starts at day break......
Hummers are on the loose in the am.

That sounds like quite a variety there. I had this absurd vision of your back yard a wiggling mass of wong to wing birds, chirping and pecking seeds!
hahahaha.
You get some nice fotos from time to time, I expect.
That was typical wasn´t it...if a goes out//it´s goinging to be the top one, isn´t it?

Of course the top goes first......Just like us..ha ha
Stew Face 1
Couple of times we had wall to wall black birds and no camera......have no idea what happens but they gather in a huge bunch sometime and landed in the yard for a while and then leave.......Noise like no tomorrow......

I don't feed them .. They land a lot like ducks to drink and feed .. We have 3 dams in the cow pasture.
I did catch a kildare baby this summer......went to take the poto, and the stupid camera died.. Isn't that the mostest????????

Oh my...I would have been very disappointed. I like wildlife fotos.
Amazing story about those blaxkbirds. I like to watch them swarm in the sky. I could watch it for hours. Starlings do it too.

I was diss............app.
So was husband....We chased them for about a half of a day........ Embarassed

We had a flock of turkeys here all summer and fall. 26 to be sure.....When my brother and son came up to shoot them at hunting season......They disappeared .
Someone said they went to the neighbors field, cause we already cut our corn..........

So much for turkey......
Deer are plentiful here and black bear.. They damage the fields also......

Laughing those turkeys aren´t dumb, they knew that hunting season was starting, so they moved on.
It´s a pity that the larger animals come and disturb your fields.
We have a big problem on the allotment complex here....with rabbits! They are totally out of control. Many folks have had to build fences around their crops to protect them. Mad Gurrrrrrr!

Rabbits....yes.
Actually at our house dog and cats are on patrol.
rabbits are afraid of the dog so they keep their distance......
Maybe you can put up a fence and turn the dog loose/

That is sad......You could plant some veggies in large flower pots on your porch.. My sister does that in town.. Tomatoes......She is over run by the rabbits too.......No dogs to stop it or cats.......And the house next door is vacant and rabbits live on both.
\

Squirrels are nasty too......Buggers pick the butter nuts off our trees and store them in my husbands garage.........Fools built a nest under the hood of my car......Must of been warm there.

Barb that first one looks like the Dark Eyed Junco's that I get here in the winter. They seem to disappear during the warmer months and re-appear early winter and stick around until spring.
