Wow wicked Baccy! How old is he? Does he strike fear into the heart of visitors? Is he high maintenance? Sorry for all the questions

@ Eileen !!!
The thing under his neck is called a 'dewlap' and its mainly to show off with to the female iguanas.... mind you he does tend to trip over it sometimes !
He is very low maintenance.. eats only cabbage, grapes, lettuce as he is vegetarian. We do put supplements in his food for the vitamins he needs however.
He comes out and wanders around every so often, my cats and him treat each other with contempt and ignore each other ! He is now about 10years old and 5ft long.
YES Garden .. most visitors run a mile when they see him, especially if he is wandering around !!!!!!
Have had other exotics i.e. otherlizards, parrots, snake ..I adore most animals..
Wait till I get my donkey when I am in Greece !!!!!!!

Eileen, you could be the official iguana wrangler. Maybe this could be a new career for you

Does Babsy have a spider problem? Or do they count as pets? My mom had a pet spider that lived over her sink, but you'd have to know my mom to understand.

Hi Mayfield,
Nice to see you here at GardenStew. I hope you're enjoying the forums. I'm from West Lothian in Scotland and we have members here from all over Britain as well as America and Canada.
Little Elsa is adorable. So good to see a KCC with a tail!!!! Why not tell us a little about yourself? We'd love to get to know you better.

OOPS!! Eileen I thought I had bored you enough with post about myself and my family!! (24.01.06 general discussion).
My main hobby is gardening but as I said this year I am going to try a few veg. Also just recently the new hobby is trying to entice birds in to my garden. Have set up feeders including niger feeder. I understand the niger seed may encourage visits from finch families. I hope so.
Best wishes Lorna.

Mayfield your King Charles Cavalier looks very proud and authorative in that photo, sort of like a canine version of Winston Churchill Great pic!

Nobody ever bores me here at GardenStew Mayfield!!!! I love hearing about peoples hobbies, interests, pets etc. I hope you manage to attract lots of different birds to your garden. The niger feeder should certainly help entice finches - it does here - so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Do let us know what little feathered friends drop by won't you?
