I found this lady up on top of my house the last week or so.

She thinks she is all that up there.

Then this afternoon I hear something on my front porch and low and behold, this is what I found.

This time I run her off of it.She still thinks she is something.

How extraordinary. Are you encouraging this exotic bird to stay? I wonder if it is wild, or does it actually belong to a neighbour?
Whatever the case, I'll bet that her visit was quite a surprize.
Thank you for these surprising fotos.

Ohh . . how adorable! We don't see peacocks up here unless we visit the zoo, so it's great to kinda see 'em up close like that!

They are not the normal around here Smile
I have seen very few of the beauties. They wondered in one day about 3 months are more ago and stayed. They must like it here as they make theirself at home between my neices home and mine sometimes they go on down to my outher nieces and brothers house.I probably shouldn't encourage them but they are so pretty.
We are 8 miles off the main hwy down a dirt road .I have no idea where they came from.
Eileen ,they are not common to see in Texas either .

Did I read Pink - It makes me think flamingoes. Then again I would expect Flamingoes in areas like Florida perhaps.

Nonetheless, I think that those peacocks must be happy there by you. Animals just know when they can make themselves at home. Smile

You must be sending out good vibes.

I hope I don't find a flamingo in my yard as that would surely confuse me.

Peafowl are not native wild birds in North America. The blue peacock is from India and Sri Lanka the green peacock is found in Java and Myanmar/Burma. The Congo peacock, inhabits African rain forests.
They are raised as pets in the US.
