I took a few pictures today before the cold front hit.I don't have vey many blooms in the yard now.
This yellow rose probably wont get to open but I thought the bud was pretty.
The Carolina Jasmine thinks its Spring.
One bloom and the next photo is the entire bush.
This Pansy is so deep purple it looks black.
This is something I can't remember the name of but its little flowers are so pretty.
My lilac Lantana is still blooming
In my little hot house I have all kinds of plants some I just wanted to keep blooming so it would look cheery.
This Canna is so pretty and the blooms are so bright
I just had to show you all.
This little wonder has grown so much since Spring.
I love the little blooms.
The Plumbago is still blooming.
The black Pepper is now snug inside.

Not many? What do you mean! They are all lovely, I like the little blue-and-white thing. I hope your rose will bloom for you. Bring the flower inside.

I think I will. I hadn't thought of that since I never cut any of my flowers.

We've got a lot of rain that ruins the roses, so I often take some inside to enjoy. I put them in bowls, then I needn't worry about stems.

These are GREAT piccies,Glendann! It'r so nice to see them and get an idea of how things look over your way.
Oh, I know how it is with removing the last flowers and buds on a rose. It's really difficult isn't it? I usually wind-up just letting them bloom-out and then deadheading them after they have truly died. I speak to them and give them encouragement when I am there doing fall clean-up. (what a lunatic, I know )I have heard that the last rose of the season is the prettiest and sweetest. I believe the Turks even name their children this sometimes (girls): Songül.
My rose had it's last bloom week before last. It was gorgeous and had such a terrific fragrance. I imagined that it was extra strong, but it could well be because there was nothing else blooming at the time. Heh heh heh.
At any rate, thanks for your nice fotos.

WOW Glendann That Pansy is so beautiful - black is beautiful (Here I go again - wishlist that keeps on growing - even when one of my wishes is having a white garden.)
You have quite a lot of flowers still growing strong in your garden. They are all lovely.
The Plumbago has such a soft color. I love it. Thanks for sharing.

Enjoy them as long as you can, it seems strange to see blooming flowers in December.

Glenda, beautiful blooms you still have.
We just might have warm enough weather for them to bloom well all winter.
