Just came across this site and am so excited! Very Happy

Well, I just became a new homeowner 3 months ago after living in apartments for 4 years Razz Problem is, I'm finding myself so lost! I'm eager for lots of advice and hope I will find tons here! Going from posters and futons to paintings and "grown up" furniture is quite a challenge lol.

Shout out to everyone in Arizona Stew Face 1

Welcome. You live in an area that is quite different to mine,in more ways than one. The plants that you can easily grow thee I can only dream about here. Having said that, there are some plants and veg that will grow in BOTH climate ranges.
We are all looking foreward to your posts. Have a good time here.
p.s. The natural beauty of the landscape in your region I find quite stunning.

hello chele,
A warm welcome from Michigan even though its very cold here right now. Your name is a popular one-I have a friend by that same name. You'll enjoy the stew here, very friendly people and knowledgable too. You'll be sure to get an answer from someone here so don't be afraid to ask.

Hi Chele, welcome to the Stew from north Texas. Glad to have you with us. Congrats on the new home too.

Is your yard brand new or a 'hand me down'? Mine is a 'hand me down' and I don't think I will ever get rid of all the weeds that the previous owner allowed to take over for many years. But the results are very rewarding.

If you don't find answers to your questions in our forums, don't hesitate to jump in and ask.

Hi! dr & I live up in Mayer. We don't get down to the valley much. I have a sister and her family in Phoenix. Enjoy your new home and yard. Check out the garden centers down there. They are a lot of help, sometimes. Welcome to the Stew. dooley

Welcome to the Stew Chele23 from a strangely mild mid-winter Norway. I'm sure you'll get all the help you ask for and then some here. Smile

Welcome aboard. I am also from Mayer and Dooley and I are old buds. I only go down to the valley when it absolutely can not be avoided. Not fond of the insane traffic. Any questions you have, I am sure you will find answers here.
