Last summer I picked up a couple of old orchid plants cheap at our local nursery. I took lots of advice as I have never grown orchids before, potted them up together, put them in dappled shade in the garden, and forgot about them! Brought them in during October - the month I move all my tender babies into the conservatory or greenhouse, and look at my reward! There are 5 more spikes to follow. It is going to be glorious for months!

Gorgeous EJ!!! You certainly seem to have green fingers. I love orchids but have never grown any myself. I did bring back some for friends when I was in Holland last year but forgot to get one for myself. Never mind it's a good excuse to go back again isn't it?
