Happy New Year to all from NE Wisconsin. I'm an avid gardener and dreaming of being out in the garden at this time of year...it will be a few more months, though! I'm lucky to have a heated potting shed where I overwinter some annuals, and where I can "putz" in the dirt on snowy winter days.

Hi there Kaseylib from West Lothian in Scotland. Stew Face 1 I have spring bulbs already poking their heads out of the soil despite our dreadful weather. I can hardly wait to get broken fingernails, cuts and bruises in the garden again!!

Welcome Kaseylib from Norway. I've got a flowering Helleborus and lots of hope for the spring, which is three months away.

Hello...I am from Wisconsin too. I live near Appleton and I like to watch the Green Bay Packers with my husband. I would love to have a place to overwinter flowers...can you post a picture of it sometime? I am dreaming of playing in the dirt too...it just seems so long to stay inside but I am not a cold weather lover. I have lived here all my life.

Welcome fellow Wisconsinite, Packer fan and Lab fan from Land O' Lakes Wisconsin. It's nice to hear another voice from this area. You will find that this is a good place to talk gardening, get good information and meet some really neat people from all over the world.

Hello from Arizona! We have a son in Oshkosh who is a Packer fan. The whole family are Packer fans. They go to as many home games as possible. But, he's not a gardener. dooley
