Has anyone heard of this mint variety and where to get plants. I bought this years ago at Calloway's Nursery in Irving Texas, but have not had any luck this last year in the Austin area. I would not mind starting from seeds, but can't find those either!

I remember when I grew this it had that little tang and fresh flavor of pineapple and it was awesome.

I found plants offered for sale at these two sites, I have never bought from them so I can't vouch for their quality.

It seems I have seen seeds in a store around here somewhere, if I see it again I can buy a package and send to you.

Thank you Toni!
I will check out those sites.
If in your searches you happen to run across colossal basil, let me know. When I grew that, I could wrap it around a stuffed chicken breast the leaves where so big. I am having trouble locating those seeds, and I think they where heirloom. I've checked Park, Thompson Morgan, and Burpee, they don't carry it.

Glenndann, aren't they just awesome! I found seeds for the chocolate mint from Parks. I love the fragrances of the different mints....containing them is always a chore once established, but still well worth it.

Renee's Garden sells a Salad Leaf Basil that sounds like it might be similar to colossal basil:
