Chance and I went to check out the lower back yard. I didn't find anything but Chance stood guard for me.

She is a very good guard dog. Every day she checks the whole yard for cats and birds.

Chance is half Springer and half Welsh Corgi. Those short little legs can just fly. She was five years old in November. We got her just by Chance when we went shopping one day. dooley

It's so good to see Chance again Dooley and to know that she's still keeping watch for anything that may trespass on your property. Stew Face 1

We tried something new tonight. We left her doggie door open and let her guard the house. Usually we close the door into the kitchen and she just guards the laundry room and the little back yard. She did very well. Nothing out of place at all. dooley

She looks very concentrated on her work, I am certain she's feeling very important having such a heavy responsibility. She's a lovely looking dog.

My yellow lab would lick anyone to death if they broke in...my guard dog is the small cairn terrier...he is a lover too but he barks alot and loves to watch the birds and neighbor children. We have the invisible fence and it does such a good job of keeping them from harm ...

I though Chance looked like a welsh corgi...I thought of that when I first saw her. Some dogs just need a job and it they can guard or watch things they are very happy...My cairn is one to keep the crows out of the feeders...he doesn't mind the other birds but runs out and chases the crows and hawks.Thank you for sharing...

Chance looks very happy to be guarding, he wants to keep his owners safe. The name reminds me of that movie with the 3 dogs-Homeward Bound and one of those dogs name was chance. Looks as if your dog does a much better job-thanks for sharing.
