Here in Michigan we also are having low temps from the single digits to low teens. Over nite temps could fall below 0. Guess its going to be time to stay in and stay warm.

We're hoping for a warm spell. We had a few cold nights this past week but not down to 6 degs. We don't have central heat so it was in the 40's in the kitchen when we got up the last two days and 10-20F degs outside. I'm still waiting for summer to come back. So, is that little hummingbird. dooley

There's a flood and storm warning along the southwestern coastline, and danger of flooding in the eastern inland. We've been promised lots of rain, wind and thunder. Nice! 4 deg C - 39 deg F.

I'm in Michigan with those low temps and our furnace has been out since sometime in the night. The repairman is here now but still no heat. We are keeping warm with the gas fireplace and a kerosene heater. It's about 60 degrees in here and about 14 outside.

What an awful time for a furnace to go out! Good thing you have the back up heaters. Be very careful with them at night. I hear more house fire stories with a blanket falling ona electric space heater and such. do you have electric blankets?

No electric blankets and I hope the furnace is fixed before it's time for bed or I will be sleeping in front of the fireplace.

My husband just said the word I've been waiting for all day - HEAT. The furnace is repaired - we will be billed.

It was -4f this morning at 7am, here in NW IN. Neutral DH walked out to the greenhouse later, when it was about 7 above and it was 63 in there. Smile
