I was perusing a 'garden junk' web site and one click after another took me to the Stew. And I am thrilled that I kept 'clicking'. The people on the Stew quickly became 'web friends'. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable about so many things. Thanks to Frank and his foresight, this is one big success

A google search turned up Garden Stew and here you are. I spent about a week reading posts, and then joined. It's been fun, this is my first experience with a web sight, Blogs and posts, and I have learned a lot. Not to forget the great people all over the world that I have interacted with. Thanks Frank, for being where I could find you.

I met a rambling gnome once upon a time, he handed me his business card (which smelled of mushrooms) and there was the GardenStew web address.
Joking aside I'm very thankful for any nice words directed my way but please don't forget the diligent work carried out by our moderators, namely Eils and Toni (named in order of promotion ). Without them the Stew may just get a little iffy due to the addition of an excess amount of Spamâ„¢.

I did an internet search for texas gardeners and GardenStew came up. I have to say after years of posting on gardenweb.com this site is so much easier to get around, and I find more information here too.
I am recommending this almost daily Frank to neighbors and co-workers.

Wow, good question, I really don't remember! But I do remember that it struck me that gardeners on this site were an awfully nice bunch and less likely to pitch a scatter-brain like me grief if I ask something I've asked before and forgot (my funky memory gets sooo embarrassing!)

I was searching for garden forums and found quite a few, but most of em werent very active. I did find Daves Garden Forum, but I didnt like it much because you had to be a subscriber to get a lot of the good stuff. So after a bit more searching, I found this place, and fell in love ;D

After ending up at the Stew several times while searching the web for plant information, I joined. I like the international mix of members and the fact that nobody groans when I post lots of photos.

I never belonged to any forums, at all, until the Stew. I was hunting a recipe for candied angelica, since i have field after field of the stuff growing here. I wanted recipe that was more updated to the one that was handed down to me, more as a confirmation if i took steps out,, it led me here to a recipe that Toni posted,, I lurked for about 2 months,, kept comming back over an over again,, then i joined. Thank you Frank, Eileen, and Toni, this is a great place, an i still keep comming back even when i wonder off into internet space,,,

I had been a member of another garden forum, but got fed up with how mean spirited some of the members were when I asked questions, so I left.
Two years ago I did a Google search for gardening blogs, I checked out GardenStew first because I liked the name and have never bothered looking at any others because I found a home here.

Since I like gardening I looked around for a garden forum. Checked a few out but could only see haow the Gardenstew was so easy to go to. I joined but then got a job that took me away for awhile. After losing my job I jumped back into gardening and into the stew. Its still a pathway I sometimes think I'd like to persue more into. Many thanks to Frank, Eli & Toni for keeping this forum going. I love all the differant info's from all the differant places around the world. Many Thanks
