I'm interested in building something that looks like the wall behind Morgan Freeman here in the movie "Lucky Number Slevin"

Any ideas on what the colored blocks are or what I could use to achieve something similar??

Hi there. Please introduce yourself to our members so that we can get to know you brad11hour. As to your question - you just have to 'Google' decorative glass blocks and you'll find many to choose from. Many DIY stores have them in various sizes and colours.

Hi Brad, welcome to the Stew.

I would think you could get a similar look with colored parchment paper squares or possibly the sheets of thin plastic that are made to replicate stained glass. You would have to create a faux wall a few inches away from the real wall so that you could hang several light bulbs at varying heights between the two to get the glow of the colors.

what about glass with parchment paper over it? I was actually counting on the room light to create the glow
