Does any one have a list of flower which require light to germinate?
Meaning they must be uncovered?

Thanks
Barb

I know that any "self-sowers" in the garden need light to germinate, as Mother Nature just drops the seeds right onto the surface of the soil and they sprout up from there. You could always check out the seed packets at your local garden center to see what they say about varieties you're questioning.

I'm not much of a seed grower myself, but I think begonia and impatiens also need light to germinate!
