I've seen things like that around when feed has been put down here but nothing as spectacular (or as big) as your sheep circle Frank.

I like the part about the ovine marriage proposal!
There might be a more prosaic explaination, but I like Droopy's best. England takes the gold in synchronized grazing, Beijing takes the silver with their ring of Peking Ducks, and Mexico the silver with a ring of goats doing the Macarena.

I've only seen Spanish sailors doing the Macarena, so that would be a novel experience.

That was a real popular dance here in US about 5 years ago.. We dont go out dancing, but see it at some weddings.

Too, odd. I sure hope they find that the farmer is using that area to turn the tractor around when he brings the feed out in the field for the sheep.
Any thing else would seem outside of normal for me.
