I moved into a crummy, tiny, unlit apartment this last October. I don't even have a window box. I'm going crazy with no plants to care for over the winter. Does anybody have any suggestions for indoor plants that don't require much light? Thanks! :stew2:

If you have a window you can have all sorts of plants, all of these will do just fine without a sunny location in fact a sunny location will likely kill them.

    Chinese Evergreen (A. modestum)
This one will grow in very low light, doesn't even like sun on it's leaves.

Pothos, aka Golden Pothos, an ivy that will grow anywhere there is enough light to read by. It also doesn't do well in sun.

There are a couple of Ferns that like very low light but might be hard to find.
    Button Fern - Pellaea rotundifolia
Holly Fern-(Japanese Holly Fern)Cyrtomium falcatum 'Rochefordianum'

Sansevaria - Mother-in-Law's tongue will take a bright window.
    Cast Iron Plant - Aspidistra
    Dracaena
Philodendron- they all like bright light but not sun.
