I said I wanted rain and the weather forecast said warmer and drier. Well, you know how accurate the weather forecast is normally. Yesterday the forecast said we would get half to three-quarters of an inch. I don't have a regular rain gauge so I took my tub with straight sides and put it out in the yard away from the house and trees. I measured the water this morning and there was two and a half inches in it. I know it isn't exactly accurate but it's probably closer than the weather forecast. I need to empty the water out of the big pot with the mimosa tree in it so if it decides to freeze it won't break the little tree. I need to get dr to help me tip it because it's a big pot.

Congratulations on you rain Dooley. We have a rain gauge, but forget to empty it most of the time.
