Some may remember this from my blog entry about our Anniversary weekend back in May, it has pictures of all the goodies I bought for the Garden....junque of course.
This is the kerosene can before...
This is it after I finished...
Now I am itching to do more painting, I have to dig out all the junque goodies I have been collecting and see what I can paint. Failing that I might just have to finally start on the kitchen cabinets or the linen closet door.

You make it look easy...are they bluebonnets? I can stencil, but have no talent for doing anything freehand. I love "junque" for the garden!

Oh what a difference Toni. That old can looks soooo good now. I'd be proud to have it sitting in my garden - especially has it has one of my favourite colour of flowers painted on it!!

Toni, that looks wonderful,, can i ask tho do you put a sealer on any of your projects. you know to weather proof them, because they are just too nice to have the elements ruin them.
i say "they" because i have looked thru the threads an see your other awesome stuff. well done!!!

My, my, my... Toni-- you have created a work of art there. I really like it! Your place is going to look super with all the neat things that you are collecting.
You sound desperate to ...paint. Are you a latent paintit-a-holic? 
BTW... your stuff is good, so you can skip the PA meetings.

Thanks everyone, I am really pleased with how it turned out.
I have a coloring book of garden flowers, I had it opened to the page of Bluebonnets and copied them, sort of but not quite exactly  The flowers on my desk top....the wooden one, not the virtual one on the computer...I traced the flowers on there then painted them. Just wish I was brave enough to venture into trying to paint something besides the same flowers over and over.
Sjoerd, when I am painting I finish one thing and scrounge around for the next thing I can paint. When I am knitting and finish an item then I do the same thing, also when I am gardening or anything else I am doing....just an 'a-holic' in general. That is except when it comes to cooking or cleaning.
Biita, I have several things that have not been put outside yet because they need to be sealed, but yes I do seal them. Sometimes I have used the wrong sealer and the hot Texas sun ruins them, like my "Beyond this place their be dragons" sign, I have to re-paint that one...I guess the sealer was too old to hold up.
The kitchen cabinet doors "Old doors, new use" topic are not going outside, I have them leaning against the wall on the other side of my computer area. I just couldn't see them ruined outside I like them too much.

I looked for the pics of the 'junk' you bought last May, but I couldn't find it  Was anxious to see your finds! I know they were something that you could see would be spectacular
