I think I accidentally uninstalled a program for sound on my computer..I opened iTunes and I hear nothing, btw I'm using headphones. I turned it all the way up, nothing. I went to youtube and clicked on a random video, no sound. What can I do? I already tried going to control panel and clicking on sounds and audio devies. For the device volume box that says, low ----high, mute, place volume icon in the taskbar. I can't click on any of those buttons are drag the sound too high for some reason. Any idea what's causing this? All answers are appreciated. Thanks!

Try this
Go to
Control panel
Preformance & Maintence
and click on the left side
System Restore......

This can set the machine back to what it was on the day it worked..
Many times it worked for me.

what version of windows do you have. try to go under control panel hardware and see if the audio device is their. If not get your cd out and re-install it.
