Me, a doggie person is house-sitting a cat.
Felix is a massive 8 year old cat and I do not even know what type. Strange enough - I find Felix beautiful and thoughtful (for a cat??)
My dogs are just too amorous for Felix so he decided to live on the car's roof (I hope that he will come down soon)
This is Felix taking a nap
and this is Felix eating - also on the car roof.
and while I am taking care of Felix th dogs have to amuse themselves. THis is their choice of amusement:
She just wants to swim.
and Snoopy does not like 'big' water

Felix is lovely! Just look at him relaxing completely on top of your car, sooo sweet. We once had a cat very much like him, but she was tiny.
Your doggies seem to enjoy themselves despite the house guest. I'd love to play in the water with them.

What a handsome Sheppie you have. Do your dogs like the cat? I hope the litter box isn't on your car roof too.

Thanks for the lovely compliments everyone
The Sheppie is called Little Pan, or LP for short and she with smother the poor Felix with attention licking, pawing, smelling. I am not too sure that Felix will appreciate that type of attention.
Snoopy had to undergo the licking, smelling and pawing experience and survived, but he is a dog. In fact he still gets the treatment (every night LP will clean his face for him.)
Since I have Felix only for one week, I do not want to take too many chances. He grew up without canine companions.
I went out to buy Felix a bowl for his food (I forgot to take the bowl when I picked him up) and I keep the dogs busy outside when Felix wants to use his litterbox. He is so cute and thoughtful - he actually signals towards the litterbox when he want to do his thing.
I bet that come tonight he will be more at ease and hope that he might even decide to walk around regardless of the dogs.

LP always just waits till I am out of sight then she jumps in. She swims regularly.
Snoopy is scared of 'big' water and will rather play with the hose pipe. He will nto even play in the spray of a sprinkler. He want to be in control of the water I think.
I do not mind LP swimming - the only problem is when she is malting then some of her hair(not a lot) inevitably ends up in the filter. Apart from that she is a very clean dog and even keeps Snoopy clean.
When she is malting I usually brush her for half an hour evey morning and every evening and follow up with a vacuum cleaner.

I think you just might be surprised how this cat touches your heart! I wasn't a cat person until I adopted Missy Mama in my office to catch mice. Since she came into my life I've become a cat person
My sister told me it's just the old lady coming out in me!
