|
Today before work I checked all my seed trays and there were 3 sprouted Veitchia Merrillii, or Christmas Palms. These seeds were put in the dirt on 11/28/07 These sprouts are my first ever palms grown from seed. Hopefully they just start popping up everyday now. Oh what a feeling.
here is a link to the pics

I am glad those seeds are sprouting. And it did not even take that long.
Btw Woon Leng is beautiful. I like her colour.

That is funny you ask. I just picked up a very sick sago today. I have not started any sago seeds yet, but have started some mexican dioons and Florida coontie seeds. here is a pic of my sick sago.

The sago is cute, but yes yellow.. I doubt if the leaves will heal......
I used to have 3 sagos and gave them all away.. Last summer my neice asks me for a sago for her new home.
If you get any sagos going, let me know .. I will trade something for those ......
thanks ........
They dont grow fast in zone 5 and I got very tired of waiting for it to do so..
THanks
b
