My houseplants live in the conservatory, which is divided into 2 halves, the kids have the bigger half, and I have the smaller half for all of my plants. I thought I would share some pics after the weekends work.

This is one corner of the jungle with the bird of paradise. I realise I don't have a pic of the other corner where the bananas reside! I will have to sort that tomorrow when the light is better.

My Clivia, which I inherited as a rather straggly old plant is thriving and full of bud!

Look how gorgeous this orchid is. I am thrilled having never grown them before.

My seeds, a mix of homemade paper pots for beans and peas and things, and toms, chillis and aubergines in the little plassy pots. Also my seed potatos chitting away happily. I find the advantage of chitting them in the chilly conservatory is they chit slowely and make big fat shoots and the spuds don't shrivel.

And this is my other problem...

My squash collection. What on earth am I going to do with them?? I have been cooking alsorts of weird and wonderful things, and my mum is bombarding me with pre-war recipes to try, but there are still loads to go!

Hope you enjoyed my little bit of madness!
