I've got snowdrops! YAY! They came out yesterday. The smallest pony is shedding like mad too. I'm glad she's not a dog.

I have some tulip bulbs trying to get up and going. Some of the trees are budding especially the tulip trees in the south part of MS where my daughter lives. One day it is 79 degrees and then the next day it is 39 degrees. we go from shorts to coats within a week. That is why the tornadoes are raging. But spring is definitly on the way according to my sinuses.

Not much is happening here, but the last couple of days I noticed that my crocuses are popping up out of the ground and my dianthus is greening up. My lilac and peach buds are getting bigger.

Unfortunately, the weeds know it's spring, too.

But I felt springlike enough today to order tomato seeds and seed potatoes. Sometime this weekend I'll clear out my plant room and tuck in a Brussels sprout seed or two.

I had a big happy sign this morning. I get up before the sun, but the moon was really bright and lit up two fat little bunnies in the back yard. Nice spring-y start to the day!

It's balmy here today with temps in the mid-20's F. I actually shoveled off a spot on my deck and sat in the sun (out of the wind) for quite awhile this afternoon. It felt wonderful to actually "sit" outside again. I know we've got a ways to go, in fact snow is predicted again for tomorrow, but in the meantime I'm enjoying my spring-like day.
