My pit, Bouncer, likes to use my slipper for a pillow or just to lay beside. We are keeping my son's pit, Bouncer's brother (again) and Bouncer loves his brother but makes it quite clear that I am HIS mom only. Anyway, Bouncer's thing is to pull hubby's socks off at night. He really thinks this is his job and if Hubby is not ready to have his socks off, it becomes a game to Bouncer. I asked Bouncer why her never pulls my socks off and he promptly came over and pulled one off. The second one came off quickly and flew across the room and he retrieved it and laid it right on top of the other one. But his brother, Toby is forbidden (by Bouncer) to even think about pulling our socks off. Dogs are funny people.
