I spent the day taking some pictures...some of them look spotty but that is because it snowed most of the day.. I have been having a good turn out at the bird pergola with all of our snow...
The pergola has no visitors right now but it wont be long...
Finches...
Junco...
Woodpecker...
Mouning Dove...
Cardinal...this is only about the 3rd time I saw him here...
sparrow and dove..
finch again...
MORE PICTURES FARTHER DOWN....

Wow, nice picts. Is it early for the cardinal? I haven't seen any spring birds around here yet. Thanks for sharing.

Our woodpecker is still coming to our feeding station too Sherry. I love the way you've caught one of your birds in flight and, as Sjoerd says, the cardinal is superb and really stands out against the snow.

You're sure keeping the finches happy! I have more red (purple) finches here during the winter. The birds have sure been busy the last few days with all the snow we've had. I've said it before, but I sure love your bird sanctuary.

Are you hiding pretending to be a snowman to catch those awesome pics of the birds. You seem to be able to catch them so easily. You must be a natural friend to the birds.

Lovely photos. I'm awed by the cardinal. I've got nothing like him here. Such beautiful colour.

What a good setup you have for the birds. Mr. Cardinal is always a crowd pleaser. Have you had any birds this year that you don't usually have?

A couple pictures of the big crows that frequent my feeders..someone had told me that the crows keep the hawks away...I try to get them to leave before they eat everything on the tray.
Notice the crow has a peanut in his beak, I put them out for the blue jays.
I took these through the window glass this morning...it was too cold to drop the window down..it is -15 with the wind chill.

Loved your bird pics! Looks like we have a hobby in common:) The cardinal really does stand out nicely in the snow! My cardinal pic was against dead grass. I really like the variety of yours too!

They are all lovely! Our birds are wary because of the cats, so I hardly get to see them.
