Here are my miniature roses:
This would be a squash flower but it is still so pretty.
Orange lillies:
gladiolus:
yellow lily:
2 of my mixed morning glory:
Just can't wait for this snow to melt away, then we can get busy in our gardens and have fun playing in the dirt.

Spring just can't come soon enough for me this year. It has been such a long, snowy winter and I've had enough!

Ahhh flowers are the best thing ever to brighten our days. 
Netty I've heard it said that they can be eaten just as they are or crystalised in sugar water, then dried, to make lovely cake decorations.

Those pink morning glories are sooooo beautiful. Gosh all your flowers are beautiful.
That squash - OK we all know that it is vegetable - but is the flower also edible?? I feel like eating it when I look at it.
(BTW my stomach is making strange noises right now. I have to go to the kitchen and make me a sandwich.)

Beautiful blooms Petunia. Could I nick picture #3, I think it would look good on my refrigerator with the other pictures of garden 'looks' I would love to have someday.

Pick the blossoms that grow along the stem, those are the males but don't pick them all or there won't be any to crosspolinate with the female blossoms that produce the squash.
Check inside for bugs, cut off the green stems and strip out the sepals.
You can stuff the flower with cheese, fresh mozzarella,ricotta or come up with your own cheese mixture, twist the ends of the petals together, dip in batter and deep fry.
The blossoms don't last long either on the plant or after being picked so you have to use them quickly.
