My daffies are all in full bloom except for one opening now.
Here is the little gourd I planted the petunia in.Imagine my surprise when I went to my green house today.
I made another bird house last night and finished it this morning.
This is the other side and it hanging in the Elm tree.
A little better of the other side of the bird house

The gourds are gorgeus! You've got sunshine and everything, lucky you. Enjoy it, and thanks for sharing.

You just keep going, Glendann. Those gourds are real winners. I hope your yard fills with baby birds.
Those daffs are looking cheerful, aren't they. Do you have enough to cut and take inside?
Thanks for more great piccies.

I love using the gourds too, and have made some of mine into bird feeders. I can't paint like you, but I did use a wood burner to put a dragonfly on mine.
Here's a photo that I had posted here a few weeks back with a chickadee feeding. I cut two large holes in the sides so they could fly through, and drilled drainage holes on the bottom that I covered with metal screening. I polyurethaned the outside, and it's been outside for several years now.
I also have several birdhouses throughout the yard, and the wrens nest in them every year. It's amazing how durable those gourds are.

Your daffs look so clean and fresh Glenda and those gourds are really fantastic. I love the green one with the petunia in it but my favourite is the blue one!!! Keep making more as I love to see how they turn out.

Thanks to all.I found more gourds in storage. They are dipper gourds longer
necks and bigger base.I am going to have to get something to cut them easier as these are thicker type gourds. But they were give to me awhile ago.

That is just beautiful Glenda. Both the gourds and the daffies. You really make the gourds pretty with paint.
